Progress is Progress

UPDATE POST!

Since I started this blog, it has been a JOURNEY.

But, I’m so happy to say, that I’ve finally found my rhythm, and I’m finally making real progress and changes in my thought process.

When people say “You just have to start doing the thing you want to do, and it’ll become second nature to you!” It’s ok to want to punch them in the face. But, I’ve got news. They’re right. And that’s hard to admit.

Sometimes it takes dragging yourself to the gym, or begrudgingly eating rabbit food, to really see that it is possible.

The first couple of times that I went to the gym, or even just worked out in my room, I cried after.

It’s just so hard knowing that at one point in my life, I could have kicked BUTT in everything that is so hard for me to do right now.

However, I understand that this is life. It’s never going to be a straight line, whether in weight loss, or in muscle gained.

Through all of this, I’ve lost 20 POUNDS. More importantly, I’ve learned so much more about weight loss, compassion, acceptance, and that the road to your goals is going to be filled with people cheering you on.
